About
Tammy Eggert
My passion for producing compelling short stories for local organization began back in 2001 while working as a Pledge Producer for PBS Valley Public Television in Fresno, CA. It was during my employment at PBS where I learned all about filming in the field, editing, audio and live production. In 2005, I was given the opportunity outside of PBS to produce my own first story about an organization (CAP) that helps individuals recover from drugs and alcohol. I enjoyed this process so much that between 2005 and 2014, I continued to create and edit videos about the organizations I worked for, weddings and events that I was booked for and the adventures that I experienced. However in late 2014 this skill eventually took a back seat to many other endeavors at the time.
Then just before the COVID pandemic in December 2019 I decided to put some of my adventure memories into videos and I realized that these videos were actually compelling enough for others to enjoy. Therefore, my husband and I decided to start a Youtube channel called “Explore with the Eggerts” and that lit my passion up again to create and edit videos. It was during this same time that a friend of mine reminded me about CMAC and all of the benefits you get as a member. So I signed up and started sending some of my videos for playback. It was great to see videos I created being played on a TV Station for our community to view.
This video venture then began spilling into helping other organizations tell their story, especially since they could not get out and do it themselves due to the pandemic lockdown. Since the creation of Explore with the Eggerts, I have now produced several videos for organizations, businesses, realtors, event organizers and a few weddings and birthdays. Then in December of 2021, I was honored to be CMAC's "Producer of the Year".
Now I would love to make a video for you. Let's tell your story together.
