This weekend is planned to be an invite only rafting/kayaking event that is somewhat like a scaled down Kings River Bash.

Whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, bbq trip-tip dinner, all will be planned all within the Kings River area. In addition, Possible: bike riding, canyoneering, yoga/slackline, team challenges, entertainment, tubing, raffle prizes, climbing and fishing can also be planned.

Gary and I will secure a site and bring what is necessary for base camp, rafting (for 36 people) and some extra goodies. Other raft guides are welcome to join and that will increase the raft availability.

The Food: We are planning a potluck for Saturday and to ensure that good food will be provided, I will make a pre-existing list and those that plan to come can choose from the list or bring something very similar. You will need to bring your own food for Fri, Sat breakfast/lunch and Sunday.

Shuttle - If you have a car with clearance, please let us know as we need you to help with the shuttle to drive on an uneven dirt road. Shuttle drivers and guides get to eat first, and do not have to help clean up.

Flaky people - Please understand that if you decide to paddle and enjoy a spot in the whitewater boats we are arranging this event counting on how many people are in each boats, being shuttled, etc. We are also limited the amount of people in this event and you'll be taking a spot that someone else could of had. I have been doing this event for 17 years and the only thing that HELPS TO guarantee that people dont flake is a deposit. Therefore we are asking a minimum of $50.
This amount will be applied to following:
*Cleaning supplies for the bathrooms/kitchen
* All the paperware to eat/clean
*Utensils, trash bags
*The Tri-tip steak
* Propane Gas
* Gas to haul everything up
* Gas/clean Marks van to shuttle
*. Wear/tear on whitewater gear
*. Any Food/Entertainment that is added onto this event (i.e. Yoga, Sat show, snacks on the river, raffle, breakfast, etc)
* All the other stuff that cost $$
* If there is $ left over we can discuss what you want to do as a group

Eventhough your helping with the shared cost this is still a group adventure where we will need Everyone in the group will help to setup, cook food, clean and tear down. In the past a list of who wants to help where has really been helpful so we will need to find out where you'd like to volunteer.

To actually be on the real list. I will need to get your security of $50 AND YOU NEED TO SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER. So don't be surprised if you sign up...dont send in $$ and then see your name removed to the waitlist in a week or two.
